Associate Editor and Co-author on: Climate Change in Aspen: An Assessment of Potential Impacts and Responses © 2006 by the Aspen Global Change Institute

In 2005, AGCI was contracted by the city of Aspen to author a study to
determine the likely consequences of global warming on the city of
Aspen. As
the Director of Operations at AGCI from 2003 to 2007, I was an editor
and co-author on this first-of-its-kind, award winning report.
The report focuses on three major areas: 1) changing climate trends and projections in Aspen and the surrounding area, 2) socioeconomic impacts of climate change on the ski industry and, by extension, the entire local economy and 3) ecological impacts of climate change on the Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado.
The City of Aspen was awarded the EPA's Environmental Achievement Award for completion of the report. Read more or download the full report on AGCI's website.
